Since our inception in 2010, Lowery Property Advisors has grown from a small commercial real estate valuation shop with big dreams to a force to be reckoned with, by more than tripling our size in the last 4 years. Our numbers speak for themselves with a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) for revenue of 31.4% and 27.9% for personnel since 2011. As part of that tremendous growth, we have scaled technology, processes, and people to ensure that the heart and soul of LPA has never wavered, and our clients’ best interests have never and will never be compromised. At LPA, humility is our foundation. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we do take our work very seriously. No matter a team member’s title, we’re ready to roll up our sleeves and help one another succeed. From our one-person start in Mansfield, Texas with $80,000 and a lot of prayers, we’ve stayed grounded, embracing the idea that our work speaks louder than our egos. Humility may not always be visible, but it quietly supports our growth and allows us to face challenges head-on, without ego getting in the way, so we can reach the best solutions efficiently and effectively.

Positive Attitude

We believe positivity is contagious—and so is negativity. That’s why we choose to approach challenges with energetic, positive, can-do attitudes. When COVID halted our work overnight, we took lemons and made lemonade, creating a CRE research site that kept us connected to our industry and gave our team purpose. Whether it’s a quick response to a client request or supporting a teammate, we stay upbeat, focused with an eagerness to learn and grow, knowing that this attitude is how we serve the best.

Collaborative

Integrity

Integrity is non-negotiable. In an industry where pressure to “make the value” can be intense, we stand firm, because doing the right thing matters more than winning the wrong way. The appraisal profession itself was shaped by the Savings & Loan crisis of the 1980s, when a lack of integrity in valuations contributed to financial collapse. That history reminds us why rigorous ethical standards are essential. Like clean water, integrity is simple but vital for survival. From our earliest days to every report we produce, we uphold honesty, transparency, and trustworthiness, knowing that our reputation is our most valuable asset.

  1. Where It Started

    • LPA launches in Mansfield, Texas with Mark and part-time support—small beginnings with an ambitious vision for what a commercial appraisal firm could become.

    Demand Takes Us West

    • The team grows to four as increasing demand takes LPA beyond DFW and into West Texas.

  3. Building for What Was Ahead

    • LPA moves to Crestview Tower in Irving, establishing a professional headquarters designed to support recruiting, scalability, and continued growth.

  4. 2013

    Growth Gets Recognized

    • With eight team members, LPA ranks #11 on the Aggie 100 and begins developing the appraisal platform that would help support the firm’s next stage of growth.

  5. Investing in Better Systems

    • LPA launches FileMaker, strengthening the technology and processes behind our appraisal operations—and earns another spot on the Aggie 100.

    Investing in Our People

    • As the team reaches 12, LPA introduces comprehensive employee benefits, including health coverage and a 401(k), while earning Aggie 100 recognition once again.

  7. Our First New Market

    • LPA opens our San Antonio office, taking an important step beyond DFW, while also expanding our Right-of-Way practice.

    Defining Who We Are

    • With continued growth comes a larger headquarters footprint at Crestview Tower—and the establishment of the Core Values that continue to guide LPA today.

  9. Building Expertise Behind the Appraisal

    • LPA opens in College Station and establishes a dedicated research team, creating additional support and resources for our growing appraisal practice.

  10. 2019

    Continuing Across Texas

    • Houston becomes LPA’s next market as the team reaches 23. A new website and expanded marketing efforts begin telling the story of a firm growing well beyond its original footprint.

  11. Growing Through Uncertainty

    • LPA opens in El Paso and grows to 28 team members. When COVID disrupted the industry, we continued investing in people—hiring through the uncertainty with no layoffs.

  12. 2021

    Growth Accelerates

    • LPA opens offices in Corpus Christi, Lubbock, and Fort Worth, nearly doubling to 49 team members while continuing to expand our research capabilities.

  13. Strengthening the Foundation

    • The team reaches 60, Corpus Christi expands, and LPA once again earns recognition on the Aggie 100.

  14. 2023

    Expanding Even in a Difficult Market

    • LPA enters Austin and Denver. Despite exceptionally soft commercial real estate demand, we stayed committed to our people and navigated the downturn without layoffs.

  15. LPA Goes Beyond Texas

    • New offices in Oklahoma City and Atlanta expand LPA’s footprint into additional states, while the firm brings its leaders together for a Leadership Summit focused on the next stage of growth.

    Growing the Firm Behind the Firm

    • LPA opens in Texarkana and reaches 63 team members while expanding Accounting, Marketing, and Human Resources to support a larger, more sophisticated organization.
